Fused (Poem & Art)

I’m no longer afraid

Of the sparks we make.

The friction of the fire you’ve ignited

Changing the look of my hard surfaces

I met your torch with my flesh

As you met my fire with yours

Our malleable hearts, now fused.

May what we create never be finished.
